First Training Weekend With LCRC ? - Read On: For some people this will be the first time they have taken part in the annual LCRC Carlow trip and there may be some questions you have about how the weekend works. The aim of this short piece is to try and answer those questions.

Licence Applications Now Open: LCRC are now registered for the 2012 Racing / Touring Season. You can now apply online for your new licence. It is a requirement of LCRC membership that you have a valid licence to take part in club activities and events. New members will receive an Introductory Licence as part of their membership fee (Paid for by LCRC).

Lucan Celebrate Successful Season. The LCRC AGM and Awards Night Was held in the Springfield Hotel on Monday Night (Nov 14th).

The event featured a presentation of a National Skinsuit to our six National Champions, along with our traditional Medals and Awards presentations

LCRC Attend Cycling Ireland Awards: Lucan Riders Roisin Kennedy, Kieran Leahy, John Priest and Brendan Whelan attended the Cycling Ireland Champions Awards Night at the Radisson Blu Hotel (Nov 12th) to get presented their National Medals from the 2011 Season.

The club also picked up 2nd place in the National Track Club Of The Year Competition.

LCRC Riders Enjoy Tough Training Weekend: Lucan Senior Riders spent the weekend (Nov 5th / 6th) on a training weekend in Aughrim county Wicklow. The event was arranged by Touring Rep Paul Heneghan, and covered almost every climb he could find between Lucan and Aughrim.

The group left the Springfield hotel on Saturday morning for a route that covered Lucan -> Tallaght -> Rathfarnham -> Enniskerry -> Roundwood -> Glenealy -> Rathdrum -> Greenane -> Aughrim.
