Silver For Whelan At Track Championships: LCRCs Brendan Whelan won a National Silver Medal at The Veteran National Track Championships on Saturday (July 17th) for the 2nd year in succession. Whelan led the the Five Event Omnium from the first event when he equalled his own National Veteran Record in the 200M. Three riders (Whelan, Paul Kennedy & Paul Doyle) went into the last event with only three points separating them. Whelan and Doyle finished Joint First - With Paul Doyle (Sundrive Track Club) awarded Gold after results countback .

Roisin Back With A Medal: Lucan Rider Roisin Kennedy marked her return to Competitive cycling after her bad Crash in Limerick on June 7th by leading the young Bray Team to a Bronze Medal in the Inaugral Womens Team Pursuit (demonstration Event). 

Lucan Riders Perform Well In UK: LCRCs Enda Connolly and Sandra Fitzgerald were part of the Irish National Development Track Team that contested the Dudley Grand Prix in the UK at the weekend (July 10th / 11th).Connolly Put in an impressive performance, getting good results himself, and also helping his Team Ireland Team mates to two wins

Whelan 3rd In Track International: LCRC Rider Brendan Whelan finished 3rd in the Sneem Hotel international Track GP on Saturday (July 3rd). The defending Champion finishing on the podium for the third year in succession. In more good news for Lucan, Sandra Fitzgerald (Representing Leinster) Won the Womens Trophy race after a long lone breakaway almost from the gun, winning with half a lap to spare.

Lucan Riders Enjoy League Prize Night: The LCRC Track team enjoyed a night of 'friendly' racing for spot prizes during the prizegiving night of the 2010 Summer Track League (June 30th) . The final nights league racing on Wednesday June 23rd saw Brendan Whelan finish 2nd in the A League and Adam Stenson 3rd in the Youth League (Stenson was also awarded the 'Most Improved Rider Award').  

Lucan Aid Leinster Win: Lucan CRCs Youth Track Team were an important part of Cycling Leinsters defense of the Interprovincial Track Championships at Sundrive Road on Saturday (June 19th). Adam Stenson , Ryan Whelan and Kayleigh Gibbons were in the Track action that saw Leinster win Round 1 by a single point.

Connolly Wins In Portlaoise: Enda Connolly followed up his A Race Win in the Duane Delaney Memorial with an impressive victory in Portlaoise on Friday night (June 18th). It was another good team ride by LCRC- Connolly followed up early attacks by Brian Reynolds and Brendan Whelan to go clear and hold a slender 30 second advantage over the chasing bunch until the finish. Lucans Darragh Zaidan came home in 3rd place with Brendan Whelan taking 5th prize. 

Lucan Riders On Top Form On Track: LCRC riders put in a great performance in the first big Track race of 2010, at the Duane Delaney Memorial at Sundrive Road on Saturday (June 12th). At the end of a long day of racing LCRCs Enda Connolly (Leinster Track Team) Won the A Section with Brendan Whelan in 2nd, Kevin whelan Won the C Event and finished 2nd Overall in All competitions, and Brendan Whelan also came away with a New National Record On The Track. It was a dominating display by Lucan and Leinster riders against a top field , including a strong Cycling Ulster Team.
