Stenson Wins / Gibbons 4^th In Palmerstown:

Lucans youth riders got their 2010 season off to a great start in Palmerstown on Sunday (March 14th). Adam Stenson winning at his first attempt for the Lucan Club. Adam Stenson was riding his first ever competitive race – and the Under 12 rider came out fastest in the Park Time Trial to take his first win.

Kayleigh Gibbons came home fourth in the Under 14 race.  This was Kayleighs first road event of 2010. The 2009 National Track Champion will be racing a number of road events this season to keep her fitness up for the 2010 Track Championships.

The Park races are the first of a series of events to be held by the Youth commission at the new venue at Waterstown Park in Palmerstown
