Roisin & Kevin Support Down Syndrome: Adamstown Cyclists Roisin Kennedy and Kevin Whelan are busy putting the final preparations together for their epic 170 Mile in one day cycle for charity on Friday (June 15th). Both cyclists are signed up to the O2O Charity Cycling Event - A single day marathon cycle from Dublin to Cork, a distance of 265km. Proceeds go to DSI and Enable Ireland.

The event is self funded with every Cent earned going to Charity. Both Cyclists want to maximise the amount they can get, and with this in mind Roisin operated two further Ice Cream Fundays from her work (June 12 / 13) - and both Kevin & Roisin will run an Ice Cream Funday at the League Prize Night at Sundrive Velodrome on June 27th (Thanks To The Track Commission for facilitating).
Both riders have an early start on Friday morning - leaving Adamstown at 5.30am.
On June 15th, Well known local cyclists Kevin Whelan and Roisin Kennedy will be part of a group that are attempting to ride 265 Km in one day for charity. 2012 is the 3rd year of the event, which challenges participants to cycle from Dublin to Cork in a single day. Click Here To Donate To Event:
All participants pay their own costs to participate. Every cent raised by the O2O goes directly to the charities. Two charities will benefit from the cycle in 2012 - Down Syndrome Ireland and Enable Ireland.
Funds raised will be divided equally between the two charities. Each provides marvellous services and support, and your donation will help them deliver those services in a very real way.
We're delighted to be raising funds for them.
The cycle leaves ESB International's Head Office on St. Stephens Green, and finishes, 265km later, at the ESBI Cork office in Little Island.
