End of the Season Club Weekend Sat 6th / Sun 7th Nov:
The LCRC end of season club trip will take place on the weekend Saturday 6th and 7th November and the destination will be Arklow. Saturday route will be a 120 km long taking in sections of both the Around the Mountain route and the Wicklow 200 route. Sunday will be a 90 km route around the mountains. Arklow, Avoca, Rathdrum, Laragh, Roundwood, Enniskerry, Glencullen, Tallaght, Lucan

Zaidan On National Dev Team For Charleville . LCRC Junior Darragh Zaidan will represent Ireland on the Irish National Development Team in the Charlevillle 2 Day Stage race this weekend (Sept 4th / 5th). Zaidan has just returned from Newport Velodrome in Wales where he trained with the Irish National Elite Junior Team, just a week after his selection (Along with Lucan Team Mate Ross Grogan) for the Irish Development Track Team for the Meadowbank G.P in Scotland.

 
Mondello Circuit Open Race 2010: PDF Print E-mail

Whelans In Prizes At Mondello: Open racing made a welcome retun to Mondello Park for the first time in almost 25 years on Thursday night (Sept 2nd). Lucan were well represented in all categories in the handicapped event that saw the A4s make good use of their advantage to stay clear of the chasing A1/A2/A3 riders. Fergus and Brendan Whelan took 2nd and 3rd in their category after an enjoyable tough night of racing.

Autumn Track League 2010: PDF Print E-mail

Lucan Riders Win Track Leagues: The Lucan Track Team are showing no sign of slowing down as we approach the end of the Season. The Autumn Track League came to an end on Wednesday (Aug 25th) with LCRCs Ronan Baxter taking Gold in the B League and Kayleigh Gibbons showing a return to form with Gold in the Youth League, with her team mate Adam Stenson in Bronze. Brendan Whelan took Silver in the A League, and Ian O'Hara took another Silver in the B League.

InterClub League 2010 Final Standings: PDF Print E-mail

Reynolds Wins Lucan League Trophy Brian Reynolds added his name yet again to the Lucan League trophy. The 2003 winner put on a good performance on the final stage, finishing in 3rd place giving him a comfortable points win over Ian O'Hara (2nd place for the second year running .  Click Here To Download League Table.

Fitzgerald Wins In Swords: Lucans Sandra Fitzgerald bounced back with a Win, after she powered away from the bunch to win stage 2 of the McNally Womens Races in Swords on Tuesday night (August 24th). LCRCs Irish Track Development Team rider outsprinted Multi National Champion and Sundays Winner In Kilmessan Geraldine Gill (Bohermeen) to take the victory.
